Gluten Free Nut&Spice Morning Bread

If you are looking for something to eat in the morning that will sustain you until lunch, this recipe is for you. It is loaded with protein, has no grains or sugar, and it tastes good. 

Prep time: 10 minutes
Baking time: 1.5 hour


2 cups almond flour
2 cups chopped walnuts/pecans
1 cup Xylitol
4 eggs
2 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cardamom 
1 tsp baking powder
1tsp baking soda

Preheat oven to 300F/150C
Mix together dry ingredients. Add eggs.

Place in a well-greased English cake pan (4.5X8.5 IN/11X22 cm).

Bake for 1.5 hour.

Recommended serving: toasted with butter.
